ROOM ASSIGNMENTS

  • We have done our best to keep entire churches as close together as possible. 

  • When you receive your rooming assignments, please fill each of your rooms with camper and leader names and return.  

  • Harvey Cedars requires a room manifest listing every person staying on property.

FOOD SERVICE NEEDS

  • There is a dietary needs buffet at every meal for gluten/dairy free & vegetarians.

  • Please provide a list with the names of students and what food accommodation they need Dairy-free/Gluten-free or vegetarian meals. In the future, Harvey Cedars will charge an extra $25 for food preferences.

  • SERIOUS FOOD ALLERGIES: Students should contact Harvey Cedars directly, 609-494-5689. These students may need to bring food to supplement what is offered.

 MEDICAL RELEASE 

  • All students participating in Victory Jam must have a signed and completed Victory Jam Medical Release Form.

  • You must bring all of your completed forms with you to the registration table when you arrive at HCBC.

  • We suggest making a copy for you to keep for your records as well. 

 FIRST AID & NURSE, ETC.

  • Every church is expected to bring their own basic first aid supplies.

  • Counselors should assist your students with minor needs, such as scrapes and bruises.

  • There will be a certified nurse onsite to assist when needed. 

  • A packing list is on the website

 ARRIVAL

  • Churches should plan to arrive at HCBC between 2:00pm and 4:00pm. Please do not arrive before 2:00pm on Monday

  • Check-In is located past the front of the hotel across the street from chapel

  • Send one leader to Check-In to pick up your packet

  • Everyone else please QUICKLY unload to make space for other arriving churches

  • Please provide make, model, and license plate number for any vehicles that will be parked at camp for the week.

 SWIM TEST

  • Counselors should get students settled in their room.

  • Everyone from your church should head to the pool for the swim test.

  • All students that wish to swim in the pool or get in the ocean while at Victory Jam MUST participate in the swim test. 

 CELL PHONES/EAR BUDS

  • As you speak with students and parents, remind them that this is a chance to get away and spend time in community

  • Encourage them to leave their cell phones and electronics behind

  • Challenge them to “unplug" from all of that and choose instead to be present with us at camp.

 MAIL FROM HOME

  • Students can receive mail while at camp

  • Mail MUST be sent on or before Tuesday, June 25 to ensure it arrives to camp before we leave Friday morning.
